The Lobby USA: Campus Cut

In 2016, Al Jazeera reporter James Kleinfeld conducted an undercover investigation of Israel advocacy groups and their efforts to undermine the Palestine solidarity movement in the United States, following up on an earlier investigation in the United Kingdom.

Due to political pressure, Al Jazeera never officially released the resulting documentary, but the four-part series was eventually leaked by Electronic Intifada and The Grayzone.

The investigation revealed stunning details about the Israeli government’s work with U.S. based groups to gather intelligence on and engage in psychological warfare against Palestine solidarity activists.

In 2020, organizer and researcher Caren Holmes created the one-hour cut of the series linked above, focused specifically on Israel’s efforts to disrupt campus organizing in the United States.
